Certificates were presented to 32 participants who completed the personal assistant training course. Organized by the "National Institute of Labor and Social Research" SNCO from March 23 to 27, 2026, the training program was tailored for personal assistants preferred by persons with disabilities who had applied to the regional centers of the Unified Social Service.

The 32 participants who completed the course are individuals selected by persons aged 15 and older who are employed or enrolled in education, and who possess severe or profound functional limitations related to mobility, vision, mental health, or intellectual impairments (including moderate limitations in the case of individuals with intellectual impairments). 

Any adult, including a family member, who holds a certificate validating the possession of the necessary knowledge and skills, may serve as a personal assistant.

To be registered as an assistant, individuals must successfully undergo training and testing to obtain a certificate certifying their eligibility to provide personal assistant services. To receive personal assistant services, the person with a disability or their legal representative must visit a regional center of the Unified Social Service and submit an application.
