The final conference of the "EU4Youth: Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship" program was held in Brussels, aiming to summarize the work carried out and achievements recorded in promoting youth employment, labor market development, and sectoral reforms in the Eastern Partnership countries.
Liana Tovmasyan, Deputy Head of the Unified Social Service, presented the recent developments in Armenia's employment sector, key labor market trends, and also addressed sectoral digitalization reforms, in particular the functions and capabilities of the e-work.am platform.
Within the framework of the conference, the importance of the continuous convergence of the Eastern Partnership countries with the European Union's labor market policy and principles was emphasized. Employment sector policy — particularly ensuring youth employment — is viewed as a direction of essential significance in the EU accession process, which requires continuous alignment with European standards and advanced practices.
Representatives of the participating countries also highlighted the importance of deepening stable and effective cooperation with the European Union's Public Employment Services Network, forming stronger interconnection between the employment, education, and skills development systems, as well as continuous support for reforms related to the accession process.
